Growing up in a dysfunctional non christian home is the backdrop for this story. Marlene was abused by multiple people growing up and raped at 14 and 17. This serious trauma caused a 12 year old girl to begin using drugs and alcohol to numb her pain. At 18 her world began to change as the Love of a Heavenly Father began to encounter her.
She married young, had three children and found that her trauma could no longer be buried deep inside. After several horrible illnesses brought on by the trauma, she began to have deep encounters with the Lord that was bringing tremendous healing to her body, soul and spirit.
As she began to heal the Lord began to move her into ministry. She wanted to help young people to avoid the brokenness she lived with and heal the ones that had a similar story. As her ministry grew, she found herself in California on staff at Bethel Church which would ultimately change her life. She became a pastor in their school of ministry and led people to encounter the love of the Father in ways that would bring healing and transformation to their hearts and minds. She continued her own healing journey through years of trauma therapy which then helped her to model what living a life transformed and whole looked like, bringing hope where there was only hopelessness.
She is now leading her own ministry of helping people through life coaching, retreats, and conferences encountering the transformational power of the Gospel through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
